So, I was alerted to this site by fellow blogger (and fabulously gorgeous pin-up) Fleur de Guerre.
Check it out - it's called Supermarket Sarah.
So, I am hoping that you can see how this works! The site is a shot of this wall - the "For Sale Wall" - and you click on the item you wish to purchase! Simples.
All the items seem to be sourced from London - Sarah lives near Portobello and also frequents Spitalfields...

Phew!
Well - it's been one of those weeks I can tell you.
I feel like my feet haven't touched the ground. So sorry for the lack of updates!
Thanks for the support re the burlesque name. This one feels right. So, I have decided to take the plunge and get some fabulous Clutterfly jewellery made for my alter ego.
What do you think? It would say "Roxie" on one heart and "Gale" on the other?
Love!!!

Chosen!
Cornish pasties
Darren and I went down to Cornwall this weekend to visit with my parents. It was lovely! Although the drive there was horrific, we spent Saturday evening and Sunday relaxing on the Cornish coast. I has forgotten how lovely it was to be beside the sea, and how nice and quaint the Cornish towns are.
We went up and visited with my parents and their dogs - which delighted Darren who is simply waiting for the moment when he can get one! It was lots of fun - we went over to Crackington Haven (hee hee), Boscastle, Widemouth Sands and Padstow.
With Darren and I being the unashamed foodies we are, the Padstow visit was the higlight! We went to Rick Stein's cafe and feasted on seafood! There was so much of it that my mum and I fell asleep on the way back in the car. I highly recommend going to Padstow - it's really busy but worth it. The town is really cute - but the abundence of great food is what makes it.
Nommers.
It was great just to kick back and have a change of scenery - I actually feel quite good today and even got up on time!!! Woah.
Z-Day
A little disturbed about the news today. The BBC is reporting that scientists have modelled what would happen should a zombie infestation actually occur.
Now, anyone who knows me will be aware that I am TERRIFIED of zombies. I have an irrational belief in them, and one of the first things I look for in a new home is the ability to defend it from an attack of the undead - as well as suitable exit routes.
Suffice to say, the news alarms me.
"If zombies actually existed, an attack by them would lead to the collapse of civilisation unless dealt with quickly and aggressively. ... [O]nly frequent counter-attacks with increasing force would eradicate the fictional creatures."
However, there is a good point "To give the living a fighting chance, the researchers chose "classic" slow-moving zombies as our opponents rather than the nimble, intelligent creatures portrayed in some recent films." Phew. Those fast ones are even more terrifying.
A commentator suggests "that some of the assumptions made in the paper might be unduly alarmist. "My understanding of zombie biology is that if you manage to decapitate a zombie then it's dead forever. So perhaps they are being a little over-pessimistic when they conclude that zombies might take over a city in three or four days," he said."
So that's OK then.
